Rev. Kenneth William Griffith of Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at his Dyersburg residence.

He was born July 12, 1931 in Owen County, Indiana to Theodore & Mary Unger Griffith. He was a graduate of DePauw University, where he studied botany and later studied at Christian Theological Seminary, where he also received an honorary doctorate degree. He served for over 50 years as a minister of the gospel and in his free time, he loved playing chess, catching fish, singing songs, and writing his unique brand of poetry.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mildred Setser Griffith; his three sons, Kevin (Diana) Griffith, Kim (Leah) Griffith, and Kris Griffith; his niece, Cheryl Griffith; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lionel Griffith.

Private family funeral services will be held at the Fyrne Lake Family Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN, conducted by Pastor Jeff Hall.
