Kenneth Allen Baucom, 58, of Ridgely, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired machine operator for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He owned and operated his own mechanic shop and was an avid race car owner and driver.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Baucom of Dyersburg; his fiancé, Kim Finley of Ridgely; three step-daughters, Stephanie Paulk Kissel of Ripley, Brittany Farley of Dyersburg and Kristen Farley of Ridgely; a step-son, Christopher Paulk of Dyersburg; two brothers, Joel Baucom and wife, Cheryl, of Dyersburg and Junior Baucom and wife, Judy, of Clarksville; three nephews, John C. Baucom of Dyersburg, Shawn Rainey of Newbern and Casey Rainey of Louisville, KY; two great-nephews, Preston Baucom and Gage Jones, both of Dyersburg; other numerous nieces and nephews; and two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry "Buddy" Baucom; a step-son, Stephen Paulk; and a brother, Billy Baucom.
Pallbearers will be Robert Jay Wells, Eric Wells, Rob Barker, Shawn Rainey, Chance Barr and Jeremiah Parkin. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Humphrey and Tucker Humphrey.
