Kathy Elaine Giles, 70, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

She was born on March 24, 1953, in Gary, IN, to the late L.Z. and Doris Thurman McDaniel. Kathy was the activity director for AHC Healthcare, loved caring for people and enjoyed sitting with the elderly. She enjoyed cooking and creating beautiful wreaths for all occasions.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Ziees officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2013 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Teddy Michael Jackson II (Sarah) of Fowlkes, TN; two daughters, Nancy Travis (Neal) of Medina, TN and Kristi Luckett (Mark) of Unionville, TN; a brother, Danny McDaniel of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Sandra Braddy (Johnny) of Dyersburg, TN; seven grandchildren, Holly Chartrand (Jay), Josh Travis (Amber), Jonathan Travis, Chelsea Atkeson (Colton), Kaitlyn Permenter (Michael), Kaylee Jones (Bentley) and Karley Jackson; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a son, Darin McCulloch; a daughter, Kandi Jackson; and a sister, Judy Post.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Travis, Jonathan Travis, Bentley Jones, Jay Chartrand, James Hill, Scott Giles and Colton Balentine.
