Kathryn "Cat" Work's Obituary
Kathryn "Cat" Work, 72, of Tiptonville, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Center.
She was born on November 11, 1944 in Lake County, TN to the late Van and Willie Shell Work. Kathryn was a homemaker. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and sang in the choir.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville with Mr. Wilford Mobley officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include her three sisters, Margurite Mooney of Union City, Carrie Lanier of Tiptonville and Eleanor Land of Union City; and a brother, Doug Work of Ridgely.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Hilda Dotson, Laura Kate Work and Lillian Stover; and four brothers, Morris Work, Harris Work, Joe Mack Work and Herman Work.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Hodge, Dusty Work, David Work, David Gooch, Robert Price, Fred Gelzer and Brad Howard.
