Kathryn Watson Hendrix's Obituary
Kathryn Watson Hendrix, 90, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her residence.
She was retired from the fabric department of Wal-Mart of Dyersburg, where she was employed for 36 years and a member of Parrish Chapel Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Leach of Dyersburg; one brother, Lloyd Watson of Memphis; four grandchildren, Kellie Fisher and Kim Hassos, both of St. Louis, MO., Lisa Wells of Camdenton, MO. and Michael Hendrix of Newbern; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Hendrix; one daughter, Nell Fisher; one son, James Hendrix; her parents, Alcie and Pearl Frizzell Watson; one grandchild, Robin Hammond; one sister; and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Luebbers, Rick Hendrix, Andy Cox, Lloyd Koonce, Dempsey Greene and Charles Dunn.
