Kathleen McLeod Peek, 99, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dyersburg and retired after serving 15 years as a college dormitory director for Lambuth University. She was an avid lover of music; both vocal and piano, all by ear.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Dr. Phillip Cook officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery in Roellen.

The family will receive visitors at 11:00 a.m. -- 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Peek Craig of Dyersburg; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Tom Peek, Sr., two daughters; Betty Peek Webb and Jean Peek Fleming; two sons, Tom Peek, Jr. and Donald J. Peek; one granddaughter, Rebecca Webb; two sisters; and her parents, Lillie May Sutton and Donald McLeod.

Pallbearers will be David Craig, Michael Peek, Ricky Peek, Alan Burchfiel, Bill Hall and Billy K. Ayers. Honorary pallbearers will be Meredith Peek, Linda Peek and James "Bill" Webb.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to First United Methodist Church or choice of donor.
