Judy Lane, 65, of Newbern, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at her residence.

She was a retired waitress for Neil's Bar-B-Que and was also a former waitress for the Plaza Restaurant. Judy was a member of Ft. Hudson Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Pugh of Newbern; a sister, Jodie Cooper Daniel of Gulfport, MS; and two grandchildren, Savannah Hassell of Ripley and Charley Harris of Dyersburg.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, James Rogers and Vivian Rogers Cooper; her brother, Harold Lee Cooper; and her best friend, Pat Henry.
