Ms. Judy Roberson Fraley, of Tiptonville, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Jackson-General Hospital.  She was born June 27, 1947 in Vienna, IL to the late Ilar & Ophelia Roberson.  She attended the University of Tennessee-Martin, where she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.  Education played a major role in her life.  She served on the Lake County Board of Education in her retirement after 40 years of classroom teaching.  She was also a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers' sorority.  She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Tiptonville and devoted her free time to her family, especially her granddaughters.

Judy is survived by her son, Shane Fraley & wife, Mandy, of Jackson, TN, her granddaughters, McKenzie & AbbyGrayce Fraley, her sisters, Alice Makin & Hattie Trover.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Fraley, her parents, her brother, Barthel Roberson and sister, Shirley Roberson.

Her family would like to recognize Callie Estes and Terry Petty along with many others in the community who supported and cared for Judy in the years since Mike's passing.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville.  The family ask that memorials, in Judy Fraley's name, be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
