Juanita Laverne Lovell, 86, of Tiptonville, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at The Bridge at Ridgely.
She was born on March 14, 1930 in Lansing, MI to the late Obie and Marie Farmer Fowler. Juanita was the owner and operator of Lovell's Grocery. She was also a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Walley officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Patty Rosemeyer and husband, Mike, of Dyersburg and Sherry Bargery and husband, Kevin, of Tiptonville; a son, David Lovell and wife, Peggy, of Tiptonville; two brothers, O.V. Fowler of Tiptonville and Bobby Fowler of Lakeland; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Thomas Lovell.
Pallbearers will be Robin Parker, Lance Lovell, Bradley Lovell, Patrick Mahoney, Ben Mahoney and Eli Wilbanks. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Markham and Carey Calhoun.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Lakeview Baptist Church.
