Joyce A. Wilson's Obituary
Joyce A. Wilson, 86, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
She was born on February 28, 1931 in Dyer County, TN to the late, Joseph Franklin Alford and the late Pearl B. Stanfill Alford. Joyce was retired from Wilson Piano and was a member of McCullough Chapel Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two sons, David Cavaness of Trenton and Jeffrey Cavaness of Rome, GA; two sisters, Bartelia Ursery and Amy Hurt, both of Dyersburg; three brothers, Millard Alford of Medina, Jerry Alford of Dyersburg and Bobby Alford of Millington; four grandchildren, Rob Cavaness of Nashville, Rusty Cavaness of Alamo, Matt Cavaness of Trenton and Adam Cavaness of Rome, GA; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dot Quinton.
The family requests that memorials be directed to McCullough Chapel Baptist Church.
