Joyce Fern "Monie" White, 85, of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.

She was an assembler at Sylvania and was a member of Finley United Methodist Church. Mrs. White was a former member of the Dyersburg Bowling League and she was also an avid flower gardener.

Funeral services for Mrs. White will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Pastor Marti Jeffers officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The White Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Joel White of Dyersburg; two daughters, Diane White and Debbie White Walker and husband, Tony, all of Dyersburg; five sisters, Betty Moore, Brenda Walk Campbell and Vickie Walk, all of Cordova, Tammy Dennis Myers of Dyersburg and Teena Dennis Jacobs and husband, Robin, of Atoka; a brother, Doug Walk of Finley; two grandchildren, Ross Woods and Gena Woods Lee; and three great-grandchildren, Lexi Lee, Emmett Woods and Allie Long.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Collins Walk; her father, Willie Walk; her step-mother, Carline Walk Dennis; a sister, Mary Walk Young; and two brothers, W.T. Walk and Billy Collins Walk.

Pallbearers will be Bob Brock, Gary McGill, Gerald Finley, James Cooper, Gene Bolte and Grady Welch.

The White Family requests that memorials be directed to the Finley United Methodist Church.
