Joyce Anita Laster, age 82, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Mrs. Joyce was born on June 9, 1941, to the late Thomas James and Grace Morris James. She was a homemaker that had worked as a waitress at several local restaurants, cooked on a river boat, and owned a restaurant in Weakley County. Her highlight was being a grandmother and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, James Laster; one son, Tony Parker (Misty) of Union City, TN; one daughter, Joy Parker, of Tiptonville, TN; one brother, Jerry James of Palmersville,TN; five grandchildren, Madison Parker, Mia Parker and J'Coy Parker, Casey Windsor and Chelsea Windsor; and four great-grandchildren, Milly Rogers, Ellie Olhausen, Leigha Olhausen, and Emery Olhausen.

A  private memorial service will be held at a later date.
