Joy Huffstutter Griffin, 76, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on November 27, 1946, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late Jack and Sue Figgins Huffstutter. Joy was a Correctional Counselor for the Northwest Tennessee Correctional Complex, where she worked for 35 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a huge Green Bay Packers Fan.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 at Parks Cemetery with Bro. David Gray officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 2-3:45 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Hamra (Mike) of Tiptonville, TN; two sons, Chuck Jarred (Charlotte) and Michael Bartee (Amanda) all of Tiptonville, TN; a brother, Frankie Huffstutter of Tiptonville, TN; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Huffstutter, Kenny Huffstutter and Stevie Huffstutter.
