Josephine Cheser's Obituary
Josephine Cheser, 83, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at The Bridge at Ridgely.
She was born on November 19, 1934, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Jim Frank York and the late Ada May Sams York. Josephine was a retired factory worker for Reliable Electric and was a Baptist.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Adams officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at the funeral home.
Survivors include her brother, David York of Horn Lake, MS; a sister, Virginia York Work of Ridgely, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Cheser; two brothers, Jim Frank Jr. and Cletus York; and two sisters, Marie Braddy and Lorene Crafton.
Pallbearers will be Rickey York, Tyler Ligons, Rickey Ligons, Doug Work, Robert York, Eric Rapoport and Steve York.
Memorial may be directed to Cottonwood Baptist Church.
