Joseph Delaney Schenk, Jr., 33, of Dyersburg, died Monday, June 13, 2011 at his father's residence in Tiptonville.
He was a truck driver for TMC and a member of First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. Marita Burkeen and the Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Curlin Schenk of Dyersburg; a son, Marshall Lane Schenk of Dyersburg; a step-daughter, Jodi Capps of Tiptonville; his mother, Rhonda Rhodes Barham and husband, David, of Cordova; his father, Joe Delaney Schenk, Sr. of Tiptonville; two brothers, Jonathan Kirby Parker and Justin Kyle Parker, both of Newbern; a sister, Sybil Schenk of Dyersburg; and his grandparents, Frances Schenk of Tiptonville and Harold Lee and Joyce Rhodes of Wynnburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph P. Schenk.
Pallbearers will be Tony Bargery, Phillip Mittag, Andrew Swift, Jimmy Greer, Kurt Chisholm, Norman Rhodes, Robert Vaughn and John Chadwick. Honorary pallbearer will be Kenneth Rhodes.
