Joseph "Joey" Patrick Denman, 43, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his residence.

He was a former insurance agent for Shelter Insurance, member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1992 graduate of Murray State University and a talented musician and actor.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Larry Blakeburn and the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 3-4 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Survivors include his daughter, Sara Elizabeth Denman of Summertown; his parents, David and Sena Denman of Dyersburg; a sister, Melanie Jackson and husband, J. Paul, of Dyersburg; and two brothers, David Denman, Jr. of Newbern and Jason Denman and wife, Lori, of Dyersburg.

Pallbearers will be Tony Hendren, Chuck Moore, Bill Parmenter, J. Paul Jackson, John Moore and Brent Cooper.
