Johnny Ray Carroll, 66, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Johnny was born on February 27, 1955, in Finley, TN, to the late, Nolan and Lorene Lovett Carroll. He was retired from the Dyer County Co-op and loved to play and build guitars.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Dyer County Memorials Gardens with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include his daughter, Stacy Lynn Barker of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Johnny Ray Carroll, Jr. (Britney) of Newbern, TN; three brothers, Gene Carroll of Roellen, Nolan Carroll, Jr. (Johnnie) and Roger Carroll (Shirley), all of Dyersburg, TN; four sisters, Carolyn Vestal (Wayne), Geneva Shipley and Shelia Carroll Burns, all of Dyersburg, TN and Brenda Gruggett of Finley, TN; four grandchildren, Hannah Carroll, Kyle Carroll, Rebecca Barker and Lindsey Carroll; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Dean and Ayden Dean; and his caregiver, Nancy Carroll.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Carroll.
