Johnny "Putsy" Lewis Doyle, 74, of Tiptonville, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired self-employed carpenter.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ridgely Chapel.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Shirley Jean Doyle of Tiptonville; a daughter, Candy Prince and husband, Terry, of Tiptonville; two sons, Jeffery Lynn Doyle and Johnny Wayne Doyle, both of Tiptonville; a sister, Donna Kay Cook of Memphis; five brothers, H.L. Doyle, Donald Doyle, James Doyle, Kenneth Doyle and Michael Doyle, all of Memphis; four grandchildren, Timothy Warren, Derek Prince, Laurin Marie Doyle and Cody Doyle; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Doyle; his parents, Johnny and Essie Mae Pruett Doyle; and two brothers, William Doyle and Jerry Doyle.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Warren, David Reynolds, Kelvin Robinson, Bubba Todd, Billy Ray McClain and Zack Basham.
