Johnny Dean, 65, of Nashville, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at his residence.

He was a Minister with the Church of Christ and was also a retired employee with the Tennessee Department of Corrections. Johnny was a member of Bellevue Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Don Reel officiating. Burial will be in Keefe Cemetery in Tiptonville.

The family will receive visitors from 4:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Fields Dean of Nashville; a daughter, Jennifer Taylor of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Mikayla Taylor and Katlyn Taylor; his mother-in-law, Betty T. Fields of Collierville; and his brother-in-law, David Fields of Collierville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Mable Sexton Dean.
