Mr. Johnny Ray Dean, of Tiptonville, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. He was born on September 27, 1960, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late Gracie Marlene Moore Beasley and father, James Ray Beasley.

He retired after many years as a correctional officer and small business owner of Dean and Sons Lawn Care. Mowing yards was his passion, as was taking care of his family, friends, neighbors, and beloved pets. He was an avid "junker" who loved to find discarded items and see the potential in them, transforming these forgotten treasures into cherished possessions.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Ann Dean; his daughter, Mary Elizabeth Tousant (Sasha); his son, John Parker Dean (Roxie); and his son, Payton Dean (Rylee). He was loved as "Pawpaw" by one grandson, Kabrian Dean, and six granddaughters, Gracie Smith, Ava Tousant, Amber Tousant, Savannah Simmons, Reece Ann Dean, and Glynn Dean.

Johnny is survived by his only sister, Judie Jones, and his uncle, Ronnie Moore (Janice). He leaves behind a host of other family members and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 at Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel.
