John T. Yarbro, 92, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020 at the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

John was born on May 12, 1927, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Tom and Ethel Pierce Yarbro. He was a retired foreman at Colonial Rubber and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Due to the current restrictions on large gatherings, the family will have a private graveside service held at Rehoboth Cemetery a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Yvonne Yarbro of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Patty Mangum (Jerry) of Newbern, TN; one grandson, Jeffrey Ty Hicks of Dyersburg, TN; and one great-grandchild, Peyton Hicks.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by four brothers, Mike Yarbro, Thomas I. Yarbro, George W. Yarbro and James Earkett Yarbro; and seven sisters, Mabel Yarbro, Stella B. Holt, Ebalee Yarbro Tucker, Jessie Jane Yarbro "Tootie" Williams, Judy Yarbro White, Mary Ruth Yarbro Gay and Betty Yarbro Rickert.
