John Thomas Waldron, 87, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

John was born on June 22, 1933, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late John W. Waldron and the late Lela Mae Magill Waldron. He was the retired co-owner of Natural Gas Piping and was a member of Hawthorne Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Mr. Scott Anderson officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son, Mark Thomas Waldron and wife, Cyndi, of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Jennifer Waldron Sampson and husband, Andrew, of Bartlett, TN; a sister, Dorothy Mae Hayes of Dyersburg, TN; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley L. Waldron; and a daughter, Cindy Yvonne Waldron Tucker.

Pallbearers will be Mark Waldron, Graham Waldron, Kevin Howard, Jason Ladd, Miles Holland and Jeremy Herring.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
