John P. "Phil" Rhodes, 57, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on July 19, 1961, in Memphis, TN, to Kay Harrington Baker and John Phillip Rhodes, Jr. Phil was retired from the traffic office with Colonial Rubber. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and loved water skiing.

Memorial visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother, Kay H. Baker and husband, Bobby, of Dyersburg, TN; his father, John Phillip Rhodes, Jr. and wife, Cinda, of Paducah, KY; a sister, Jane Rhodes Lents of Dyersburg, TN; a nephew, Jonathan T. Lents of Murfreesboro, TN; his aunt and uncle, Caroline and Jerry Brewer, of Dyersburg, TN; his cousins, Debbie DeBenedictis, Donna and David Middleton, Ashley and Allison DeBenedictis and Jonathan Middleton; a step-sister, Tammy Williams of Virginia; and two step-brothers, Robby Baker of Maryland and Jon Jai Baker of Missouri.
