Mr. John Marvin Lomax, of Dyersburg, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025 at his home.  He was born October 8, 1947 John Calvin and Billie Doris Lomax.  John was a Baptist by faith and proudly served in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He worked in maintenance and operations for the Tupperware Company and later Marvin Window Manufacturing.  He loved time spent working outdoors, especially farming and raising all types of livestock.  In his free time, he enjoyed cooking and reading.

John is survived by his son, Andrew Keith Lomax, of Mountain City, TN, a brother, Ronnie Lomax, sisters Laurie Floyd and Patti Vicory, a niece Kris Lomax and nephew Jared Vicory.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Lomax, his parents and a son, Eric Colin Lomax.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. for graveside services.
