John Wayne Essary's Obituary
John Wayne Essary, 73, of Lebanon, formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at his residence.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Lebanon, loved to shoot pool and dance the two step at Lebanon Senior Citizens Center and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Sonny Hooper officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marcia Jean Canada Essary; children, Dirk W. Essary and Jeannine M. Essary; a brother, Rick Rickman; two grandchildren, Brent C. Essary and Rebecca J. Hoback; and several special cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Williams Rickman and John Walter Essary; and two sisters, June Fisher and Mary Neva Essary.
Pallbearers will be Tom White, Tommy White, Estel White, Mike Fisher, Doug Seaton and Brent Essary.
