Joe Eldrige Smith's Obituary
Joe E. Smith, 69, of Ripley, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Lauderdale Community Hospital in Ripley.
He was a retired bricklayer, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Vietnam Veterans Association.
Mr. Smith is being cremated and no services are planned at this time. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his son, Joseph Smith of Ripley; a sister, Joan Dormanen of Howell, MI; and two brothers, Terry Gene Smith of Ripley and William Anthony Smith of Westland, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Price and Martha Poole Smith.
