Joe B. Short's Obituary
Joe B. Short, 55, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008 at his residence.
He was owner of Joe's Lawn Service and attended Westside Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. James Combs officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Rogers Short of Dyersburg; two daughters, Regina Lynn Ramsey and Jennifer Jo Short, both of Dyersburg; five sisters, Louise Parker of Bogota, Martha Fields of Yorkville, Mary McNeely of Finley, Nadine Haynes and Rosie Robbins, both of Dyersburg; and two grandchildren, Jonathon Ryan Ramsey and McKenzie Leigh Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Iva Hastings Short.
