Joann Willis, 88, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at AHC Healthcare Dyersburg.

Joann was born on December 28, 1933, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Robert and Quincy Stockton Poiner. She was a homemaker and attended Calvary Hill Baptist Church before they closed down.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Zion Cemetery in Cloverdale with Bro. Eddie Wilbanks officiating. Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Morris Frank Willis of Dyersburg, TN; a son, David Lynn Willis (Mitzi) of Newbern, TN; a grandson, David Carlton Willis; and a nephew, Mark Edward Bessent (Penny) of Newbern, TN.

In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Bessent.
