Joann Rogers' Obituary
JoAnn Rogers, 64, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on October 2, 1952 in Ridgely, TN, to the late Raymond Powell and the late Ruby Moore Powell. JoAnn was retired from Colonial Rubber and was a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Ray Goodgine, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 12-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelly Tippit and husband, Danny, of Tiptonville; a son, William Anthony Rogers of Huntingdon; a brother, Glenn Powell of Ridgely; and four grandchildren, Branden Curvin, D.L. Tippit, Natalie Rogers and Brady Rogers.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sue Avery; and a brother, Danny Ray Powell.
Pallbearers will be Danny Tippit, Jr., Brent Work, Cotton Brewer, Chris Tate, Chris Burrus, and Corey Glidewell. Honorary pallbearers will be Branden Curvin and D.L. Tippit.
