Joan M. Fisher, 88, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Joan was born on March 28, 1932, in Cairo, IL, to the late Paul and Anna Fischer Martin. She enjoyed various needle work, crocheting and reading. Joan was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, where she served as a former member of the Holy Angels Pastoral Council. She was a former board member of the Dream Factory of Dyersburg and also a former board member of Dyer County Lifeline Blood Services.

A celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Patrick Hirtz officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Charlene Mullins of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Helen Smith of Redmond, WA; one granddaughter, Alexandra Thompson and husband, Joshua, of Union City, TN; a great-grandson, Logan Thompson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Fisher; a daughter, Theresa Fisher; a sister, Mary Lou Martin Harrell; and a brother, Billy Martin.
