Mrs. Joan Finley Bennett, of Dyersburg passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.  She was born November 26, 1939 to the late Paul and Gwen Robinson Finley.  She was a homemaker and long-time member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.  She was the owner of the former "Mom & Me" Children's Store and enjoyed painting and vacationing in Florida.

She is survived by her son, Steve Bennett and wife, Sandra, and a daughter, Lori Davis and husband, Gary, all of Dyersburg, a brother, Johnnie Finley, sisters, Shirley Pilkenton, Paulette Roberts and Debra Charest and five grandchildren, Amanda Poplin, Zachary Bennett, Maegan Brooks, Hunter Davis and Anne Taylor Davis as well as eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Frank Bennett and a son, Darren Mitchell Bennett.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Monday, June 18, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home by Dr. Carl Mills with interment to follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Zachary Bennett, Hunter Davis, Chris Poplin, Mark Brooks, Steve Wellington, Joel Deal and Rick Crawford.
