Jo Carolyn Turner Mooring, 84, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on July 20, 1934, in Red Bay, Alabama to the late Joseph and Exie Collier Stockton. Jo was a retired factory worker for Mar-Lek Manufacturing. She was a member of Church Grove Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Turner and Mr. Woody Joe Dozier officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Dozier of Ridgely; three grandchildren, Woody Joe Dozier, Charles Preston Turner and Angela Joann Evans; and three great-grandchildren, Charles Blake Turner, Blake Evans and Sarah Evans.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Turner and Aubrey Mooring; a son, Charles Mack Turner; and a sister, Wynette Myrick.

Pallbearers will be Chris Runions, Brandon Runions, Jordan Runions, William Rivers, Jeffrey Rivers and Dale "Cotton" Brewer.
