Jo Ann Pope, 74, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Jo Ann was born on October 26, 1949, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Jones and Martha Ann Crabtree Prince. She was a registered nurse with the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. In her spare time, Jo Ann loved reading, watching tv and working crosswords and puzzles.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Robert Matlock and wife, Tameka, of Cordova, TN; eight grandchildren, Jana, JayLynn, Julio, Camille, Charles, Lacasha, Latasha and Letrivia; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Gamble; a daughter, Claudia Cantu; and a sister, Claudia Callens.
