Jo Nell Norman's Obituary
Jo Nell Norman, 79, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Maple Ridge Assisted Living Center.
She was a retired registered nurse for the Health Department and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 12 noon Tuesday at Oakridge Cemetery in Kennett, MO with the Rev. Lynn King and Bro. Dale Smith, Jr. officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Norman and wife, Debbie, of Dyersburg; a brother, Hoyt O. Smith of Mishawaka, IN.; two grandchildren, Laura Clements and husband, Chris, of Dyersburg and Kyle Norman and wife, Gina, of Dickinson, TX.; and one great-grandchild, Harper E. Norman.
She was preceded in death by a son, Greg Norman; her parents, Emory and Nell Lemonds Smith; and a brother, Dale Smith.
Pallbearers will be Chris Clements, Brad Norman, Burnie Norman, Dale Smith, Jr. and Kim Peckenpaugh.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to West Tennessee Family Solutions, 7980 N. Brother Blvd., Suite 101, Bartlett, TN 38133 or to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
