Jimmy Wayne Warden, 60, of Unionville, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a farmer, a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star and Air Medal, and was a Baptist.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Turner officiating. Burial will be in Meacham Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Jean Warden of Unionville; two daughters, Sheila Warden and Sharon Warden, both of Unionville; a son, Jimmy Allen Warden of Unionville; five sisters, Betty Warden and Lucille Scott, both of Unionville, Sara Dent of Newbern, and Mary Kemper and Flossie Holt, both of Ripley; and three grandchildren, Lia Hogshooter, Caine Hogshooter and Madison Warden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Pauline Warden; and four brothers, Thomas "Sonny" Warden, Leroy Warden, Oscar "Dub" Warden and Charles Warden.
Pallbearers will be Shane Campbell, Randy Campbell, John Edwards, Galon Edwards, Danny Willis and Jeff Warden. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Asher and Bradley Hutcheson.
