Jimmy Ray Parson, 64, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Jimmy was born on October 22, 1957, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late, Harry and Frances Dean Parson. He was a farmer and had been in the repo business for 20 years. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales and cb radios. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, telling stories and riding around. Jimmy was a member of the Tiptonville Pentecostal Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Tiptonville Pentecostal Church with Rev. Chuck Nash officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Tiptonville Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his two daughters, Debora Wilson (Johnny) of Ridgely, TN and Jessie Parson of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Jimmy Joe Parson (Haley) of Ridgely, TN; two sisters, Martha Woods of Big Sandy, TN and Frances Blackley of Martin, TN; four brothers, Joe Parson, Roger Parson and Johnny Parson, all of Tiptonville, TN and Ricky Parson of Greenfield, TN; his ex-wife, Karen Burns of Tiptonville, TN; his friend, Julie Johnson; twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Parson, Paul Parson and James Parson; three sisters, Fanny Tubbs, Mozelle Parson and Lula Bell Parson; and a great-grandchild, Broden Stutts.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Zack Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Walter Parson, Scotty Stutts, Cody Bolton, and Bradley Parson.
