Jimmy Rodney Moore, 67, of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Jackson Regional.
He was born on November 1, 1949 in Williamson, West Virginia. Jimmy was a retired carpenter for Charles Seaton Construction and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Friendship.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Sollis officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The Moore Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Wade Moore of Dyersburg; a son, Roger Eli, Jr. of Ware, MA; two step-sons, Charles Thompson, Sr. and Michael Thompson, both of Newbern; three step-daughters, Janie Moody, Wanda Wray and Debbie Henson, all of Dyersburg; a niece whom he considered as his daughter, Melissa Jane Ferebee of Dyersburg; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Rodney Moore and Essie Mitchell Moore; a brother, Donnie Moore; a sister, Patty Moore; and a grandson, Bratt Hughes.
Pallbearers will be William Ferebee, Zachary Ferebee, Anthony Reeves, Jim Wray, Alvis Ray Thompson and Charles Thompson, Jr.
