Jimmy Dwayne Dudley, 66, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

He was born on December 7, 1958 in Dyersburg, TN to the late Freeman Dudley & Linda Tipps Cagle. Jimmy spent over 30 years behind the wheel as a truck driver for the City of Dyersburg and Volunteer Express. He is remembered as a devoted and hard-working father and husband who never met a stranger. He was a fan of Blues and Rock & Roll music and loved to tinker on cars in his shop or just spend time outdoors.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Linda Dudley of Dyersburg, TN; his daughters, Allison Dudley of Dyersburg, TN and Haley Shanklin of Kenton, TN; his sons, Wes Shanklin & wife, Jessi, of Union City, TN and Kurtis Shanklin of Kenton, TN; eight grandchildren, Peyton Hicks of Newbern, TN, Lennox Hogshooter of Dyersburg, TN, Raelynn & Khylen Shanklin of Kenton, TN, Dallas King and Kelsey Shanklin of Union City, TN and Landen & Kortland Shanklin of Kenton, TN; his sister Carla Taylor of Newbern, TN; a brother, Kevin Cagle of California; his uncles, Roger, Bobby and Wallace Dudley; and aunt Patricia Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Tipps Cagle; his father, Freeman Dudley; grandparents, Wallace & Helen Dudley and Joe & Nina Tipps; and a grandson Alex Hogshooter.
