Mr. Jimmy Lynn Burdin, 58, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Jackson General Hospital.

He was born August 14, 1966 to Linda and Robert Burden. Jimmy was a Baptist by faith and served his community as a bus driver for NorthWest transportation Services, helping those without ability to drive to be mobile.

Jimmy is survived by his mother, Linda Stout; his sister, Melissa Crews; his nephew, Shane McLain; a niece, Deana Powell; grand-nephews, Hunter, Jasper and Syris McLain and Legend Powell; and a great-niece, Athena Powell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Burden; step-father, Blan Stout; and his grandparents, Noah & Bessie Burdin and Ezra & Helen Johnson.

The family of Jimmy Burdin will be planning a private memorial services at a later time. They ask that memorials be directed to the work of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
