Jimmie Sue Tetleton, 93, of Halls, TN, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at her residence.

Jimmie was born on January 12, 1931 in Jackson, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Unionville. Jimmie was an avid reader of her Bible every morning and loved going to church. Jimmie loved gardening, cooking and canning vegetables. She took care of her family, whom she loved very much.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Nathe Ozment officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Diane Dickey of Nashville, TN and Patricia Atwell (Danny) of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Dalton Tetleton of Ripley, TN and Eddie Tetleton (Pam) of Dyersburg, TN; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Tetleton; a son, Orren Tetleton; two brothers, Curtis Hendrix and Thomas Hendrix; and three grandchildren, Tammy Atwell, Tiffany Tetleton and Cody Tetleton.
