Jewline "Dood" McPherson, 91, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
She was born on January 20, 1926 in Dyer County, TN to the late John Ennis and Eunice Neil Ennis. Jewline was a homemaker and was a member of Independent Free Holiness Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Sharron Schlimme and husband, Warren, of Jefferson City, MO and Kim Rundles and husband, Eddie, of Bells; a son, Flynn McPherson and wife, Renate, of Badhomburg, Germany; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth McPherson of Dyersburg; a sister, Peggy Turner of Dyersburg; nine grandchildren, Kevin McPherson, Natja McPherson, Ronnie McPherson, Jr., Micah McPherson, Margaret McPherson, Brian Hall, Courtney Hall, Tim Seratt and Sabrina Gaona; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Bud" McPherson, who she was married to for 67 years; a son, Ronnie Lynn McPherson; two sisters, Frances Watson and Robbie Jean Williams; and a brother, Joe Ennis.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Seratt, Keith Smith, Skyler McPherson, Tim Vestal, Jamie Vestal, Wayne Vestal, Terry Vestal and David Parrish.
