Jewell Norville, 94, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her residence.

Jewell was born on August 14, 1926, in Ripley, TN, to the late, William Roy and Lucy Walden Casey. She was a retired employee with Dyersburg Fabrics and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg. Jewell loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her faith in God and her family brought her great joy and happiness. She also loved sitting at her front window each day watching the birds and waving at her neighbors as they pass by her house.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Hickman and the Rev. Nathe Ozment officiating. Burial will be in Fairivew Cemetery. The Norville Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her four sons, W. Dean Norville, Jr. of Mobile, AL, Tom Norville of Foley, AL, Rusty Norville (Julie) and Terry Norville, all of Dyersburg, TN; four daughters, Linda Webb of Dyersburg, TN, June Martin (Don) of Newbern, TN, Pam Pleasant (Rodger) and Mona Ozment (Nathe) all of Dyersburg, TN; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jewell was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Willys Dean Norville, Sr; a sister, Virginia Crawford; and a brother, Thomas Edward Casey.

Pallbearers will be Adam Ozment, Daniel Ozment, Stephen Ozment, Jeremy Ozment, Matt Norville, Bill Ledbetter and Jess Evans. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Joe Davis.
