Jewell Dean Lewis, 73, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at her residence.

Jewell was born on October 16, 1947, in Richwoods, TN, to the late, Charles and Dorothy Howard Baize. She was the retired owner of Lewis Cleaning Service and was a member of Holy Hills Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Billy Tucker officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two sons, Brian Lewis and wife, Debbie, of Dyersburg, TN and Chad Lewis and wife, Lisa, of Newbern, TN; a sister, Regina Ford and husband, Willie, of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, Leon Baize and wife, Pearl, of Dyersburg, TN; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Baize of Richwoods, TN.

In addition to her parents, Jewell was preceded in death in 2021 by her husband, James Douglas Lewis, and her brother Ronnie Baize.

Pallbearers will be Homer Reed, Tommy Ratliff, Chris Reed, Tommy Russell, Justin McQuarters and Ryan Fisher.
