Jessie Franklin Perkins, Jr., 74, of Tiptonville, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at his residence.
He was a retired farmer.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Don Reel officiating. Burial will be in Keefe Cemetery in Tiptonville.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Vicky McNulty and husband, Ricky, and Karen Hopper and husband, Jamie, all of Tiptonville; six sisters, Sue Hayes, Linda Williams and Frances Jones, all of Tiptonville, Pat Lamb of Ridgely and Connie Taylor and Cindy Fisher, both of Dyersburg; three brothers, Joe Perkins of Nashville, Jerry Perkins of Tiptonville and Ronnie Perkins of Mayfield, KY; five grandchildren, Chassidy Byington, Kristin Ivy, William Gamble, Austin Hopper and Carson McNulty; and three great-grandchildren, Ashton Byington, Gage Byington and Alecia Sandoval.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue Perkins; his parents, Jesse, Sr. and Golden Carrington Perkins; a sister, Ruth Ann Taylor; and a brother, Jackie Perkins.
Pallbearers will be Bo Lamb, Joe Perkins, Ron Perkins, Terry Jamison III, Dallas Stacks and Ronnie Byington.
