Jesse Eugene Decker, 65, of Tiptonville, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 at his residence.
He was an employee for Riggs Supply Store. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received the Purple Heart Medal.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Memorial Gardens with Bro. John Troutman officiating. Friends and family members are asked to meet at the cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Millie Sue Decker of Tiptonville; a daughter, Joy Decker of Dyersburg; two sons, Jesse Decker, Jr. of Troy and Ralph Decker and wife, Kellye, of Tiptonville; three sisters, Judy Booth of Okeechobee, FL, Dorothy White of Ridgely and Becky Dunn of Tiptonville; four brothers, John Decker of Randleman, N.C., Ernest Decker of Trenton, Ricky Decker and Larry Decker, both of Tiptonville; and six grandchildren, Tristen Decker, Sarah Decker, Seth Decker, Anna Brenton, Gauge Decker and Alyssa Decker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David, Sr. and Stella Davis Decker; and two brothers, Herman Decker and David Edwin Decker, Jr.
Pallbearers will be David Dunn, Jr., Ricky Forrest and Terry Scott.
