Jerry Weaver, 77,  of Dyersburg, TN passed away on November 29, 2023,  at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  Jerry was born June 6, 1946 in Dyer County, TN.  He attended Dyersburg City Schools and graduated from Dyersburg High School in 1964.  He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Memphis, TN in 1969.  He served in the US Army National Guard for six years.

Jerry served as a community retail pharmacist for over 50 years working for various independent and chain pharmacies.  He loved his profession and the opportunity to serve the public.   Jerry lived life to the fullest enjoying his family, his friends, traveling, singing, and all music. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dyersburg.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday,  January 7, 2024, at 2:00 at First United Methodist Church in Dyersburg, with Rev. Dr. Mary Beth Bernheisel officiating.  The family will receive visitors from 1:00 until time of service.  Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Charlotte;  a daughter,  Melanie Todd and her husband Hugh Todd of Dyersburg;  and a grandson,  Hunter Todd and his wife Aricka of Hailey, Idaho.  He is also survived by his sister, Dianne Anderson and her husband David Anderson of Dyersburg, and his brother-in-law, George Swader of Dyersburg.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, T.D. and Frances Weaver;  his sister, Sue Ellen Swader;  and his brother, Thomas D. Weaver.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Food Pantry at the First United Methodist Church in Dyersburg, TN.
