Mr. Jerry Simpson, 80, of Lebanon, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the NHC Healthcare of Dickson.

He was born on October 15, 1942, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Roy and Addie Hill Simpson. Jerry was a self-employed painter and enjoyed serving as a Boy Scout Leader for many years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy White officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Simpson Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his daughter, Darla Simpson of Belle Chasse, LA; a son, Steven Simpson of Bon Aqua, TN;a brother, Troy Simpson of New Johnsonville, TN; two sisters, Leatha Tirey of Millsfield, TN and Faye Robertson (Mike) of Friendship, TN; and four grandchildren, Tristan Simpson, Layla Simpson, Gavin Mayo and Nolan Mayo.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Simpson, Tristan Simpson, Mike Hensley, Casey Burdette, Cane Burdette and Larry Raines.
