Jerry Lee Powell, 91, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his residence.

Jerry was born on July 2, 1929, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Will and Irene Parsley Powell. He was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics and was a Baptist by faith. Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved woodworking.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Evans officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 10-10:45 a.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Powell of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Tommie Norris and husband, Stephen, of Collierville, TN; four grandchildren, Richie Tidwell, Robby Tidwell, Rachel Bryant and Stephen Norris, Jr.; and four great-grandchildren, Delaney Tidwell, Deidrey Tidwell, Grace Tidwell and Olivia Eavenson.

Pallbearers will be Danny Watson, Steve Melton, Richie Tidwell, Robby Tidwell, Stephen Norris, Jr. and John Powell.
