Jerry Gene Johnson's Obituary
Jerry Gene Johnson, 72, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his residence.
He was a machine operator for Heckethorn Mfg. for 32 years. He was also a very loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and a member of The Shelter for the Sheep.
Services will be at 11 AM Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Rev. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include three daughters: Daphne Fowler, Carla McPherson, and Anita Lowe all of Dyersburg; two sons, Allen and Jason Crews both of Dyersburg; one sister, Patsy Johnson Ray of the Millsfield community; two brothers, Larry and Donnie Johnson both of Millsfield; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Johnson; his parents, Willie Randolph and Vivian Marie Johnson; one son, Mark Anthony Crews; one grandson, Mark Allen Crews and two great-grandchildren
Pallbearers will be John Fowler, Josh Hicks, John John Hicks, Michael Hicks, Timmy Crews, and Spencer Crews.
