Jerry Wayne Hendrix, 66, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired plumber for Larry Rogers Plumbing, Heating and Air and a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam War. He was a member of Delta Cruisers Motorcycle Club, member of Patriot Guard and an avid hunter.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Kenny Chessor officiating.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Vicki Hendrix of Dyersburg; two daughters, Tina Hendrix Welch and husband, Brent, of Finley and Nancy Hendrix of Nashville; a son, Jason Hendrix of Bolivar; a step-daughter, Ashley Cantwell of Marked Tree, AR; a step-son, Roy Crews of Fayetteville, AR; a brother, Jimmy Hendrix and wife, Mary Lou, of Dyersburg; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Hendrix; and his parents, N.C. and Monnell Hubbard Hendrix.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
